Terms of Service

Service overview

Fishbattery provides a Minecraft launcher with optional account features and optional premium features. Core launcher functionality remains free. Features may change over time as the service evolves.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Fishbattery. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in abuse, fraud, harassment, or attacks on service integrity.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass authentication, subscription checks, or security controls
- Distribute malware, exploit the service, or disrupt other users
- Use Fishbattery for illegal activity or to violate third-party terms
- Abuse rate limits or scrape service endpoints in a way that harms the platform

Premium subscriptions

Premium is optional. Subscription charges and billing are handled by Stripe. Pricing and plan details are shown in the launcher and during checkout. Premium benefits may change as features are improved or replaced, but we will aim to keep changes reasonable.

Refunds and cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal or your account settings (where available). Subscription access remains active until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.

Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis, except where required by law.

Content and mod policy

Fishbattery does not claim ownership of third-party mods, modpacks, or game assets. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with creator licenses and platform terms. Fishbattery may provide tools to download or manage mods, but does not guarantee mod safety, compatibility, or availability.

Third-party services

Fishbattery may integrate with third-party services (for example: Mojang/Microsoft login, Stripe payments, hosting providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. Fishbattery is not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Fishbattery available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

Termination

You may stop using Fishbattery at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if necessary to protect the service, users, or legal compliance. Where reasonable, we may attempt to warn you before taking action.

Disclaimer

Fishbattery is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the launcher, services, or third-party integrations will be error-free, secure, or compatible with every system or mod.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fishbattery will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

In all cases, Fishbattery’s total liability will be limited to the amount you paid to Fishbattery in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or 0 DKK if you did not pay).

Intellectual property

Fishbattery and its branding are owned by Fishbattery. Third-party trademarks, game content, and mod content belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these terms grants you rights to use Fishbattery branding except to access the service as intended.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, unless mandatory local consumer laws require otherwise.
